What is a tissue or honeycomb decoration?

Fundamentally, a tissue decoration is made of several layers of tissue paper glued together in strategic spots.
- After the glue dries, dies are used to cut out specific patterns which give the compressed tissue its form.
- Card stock backing is usually applied to tissue decorations that are going to stand upright like centerpieces or hanging decorations.
- The end user then opens the decoration to expand it into its full shape.
Tissue Bells
One of the most common tissue decorations are Westminster bells. These inexpensive tissue bells are used for weddings, wedding receptions, and anniversary parties. We carry several different sizes of
wedding bells including 5 inch, 9 inch, 11 inch and the large 15 inch bells. Each of these quality low cost bells are available in a wide range of colors to match your specific wedding theme.
Tissue bells are also commonly used for Christmas and New Years decorating.
Honeycomb Garlands
Tissue decorations and also very popular as garlands for a traditional look.
We carry several different types of tissue garland including Leaf Garland, Arcade Garland, and Pageant Garland. Each has their own unique look and style primarily determined by the way they were cut and glued. While some care should be taken as you handle them during installation, they are resilient and can be used to stretch across rooms and hallways.
To decorate a table or central focal point we recommend you use the Celebration Arch that is specifically made to maximize the full length of the tissue garland and attach to a table.
There are also theme specific tissue garland decorations, for example 50’s Rock and Roll and Halloween each have their own tissue garland designs.
Tissue Fans
Tissue fans are very popular - they are brightly colored, large, high quality and cheap. Fans work well hung from the ceiling, attached to a wall or laid flat on a table, complimenting and completing your party decor.
Tissue Balls
You get a lot of bang for your buck with these hanging tissue balls. They come in several sizes in solid and alternating color designs. Our most popular design is the
Red, White, and Green Art-Tissue balls which gets used for Fiesta parties, Italian theme dinners, and Christmas decorating.

Shaped Tissue Decorations
The most well known shaped tissue decorations are the Thanksgiving Turkey, Halloween Pumpkin and football shaped tissue decorations.
