How to: Decorate for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, & Labor Day
Summer is the perfect time to celebrate outside with family and friends. Lucky for us we have three reasons to get out in the sun with Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor day.
Whether you're breaking out your swimsuit for the first time, planning a fireworks extravaganza or winding things down before the start of a new school year We have everything you need to plan the perfect Patriotic themed party.
Have lots of trees in the backyard? Try hanging banners, flags, stars, flutter balls,or whirls from the branches. Mix in some white or colored holiday light strings to keep the mood bright after the sun goes down.
If the yard is open, plant flags in the ground to create a pathway, enclose an area, or create a design. Buntings hung from porch rails or fences add great pops of color and movement with a breeze.
Cover your tables in bright bold colors and patterns. Add a cascade or patriotic centerpiece, and battery operated twinkle lights or electric candles for the evening as a focal point and finish off with tableware that matches or contrasts with your table covers.
Wrap your cutlery in colorful napkins, then wrap a strand of party beads around everything to keep it together and hold it down if it gets to breezy. The beads make great keepsakes and kids will have fun making crafts from them. Follow this link for quick and easy bead twisting projects.
