Launched in 2011and growing in popularity every year, isn't simply an excuse to show-off humiliatingly-unfashionable sweaters featuring Christmas and holiday icons from Reindeer to Ornaments to Santa himself. Ugly Sweater Day has become a, dare we say fashionable, fundraising event for Save the Children and other charities.

Organize an ‘Ugly Sweater’ auction - everyone wears their ugliest sweater and people bid to have them take them off. You can have even more fun by letting people counter-bid to have the sweaters stay on for the day. Donate the auction proceeds to a charitable cause in the name of your company.
Ugly Sweater Party Decorations and Supplies
Set aside time during the day for co-workers to bring in plain sweaters and create their own Ugly Sweater masterpiece using supplies you provide. Puff balls, ribbons, bob-bons, glitter, and any other tacky holiday themed items are great for hot gluing, pinning, stapling or otherwise attaching to the sweaters. Have co-workers vote on best or worst.
